LOCATION

Candidates located in the Puget Sound area (near our headquarters on the Eastside) will work in a hybrid capacity, with priority given to local applicants.

WHO YOU ARE

As an AR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the company’s accounts receivable process. Your attention to detail, effective communication, and organizational skills will ensure timely and accurate collections while maintaining strong relationships with customers. This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow in a dynamic finance environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Process and post daily cash receipts accurately and on time.
  • Ensure the timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable balances.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, responding to AR inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Order Administration teams to address and resolve customer issues.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed AR aging reports, documenting all collection efforts.
  • Evaluate accounts and recommend write-offs when necessary.
  • Perform bank reconciliations accurately and timely.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a corporate or similar environment.
  • Strong proficiency in organizing files and documentation, adhering to company accounting policies and practices.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Business with an emphasis on Accounting, or equivalent experience.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Upon hire, you must provide documentation proving authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Compensation for this full-time job is between $26.92 – $29.33 per hour, with the potential for an annual discretionary bonus. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, or location.
