LOCATION

This position is hybrid at our headquarters in Redmond, Washington. You must be a local candidate available to work in the office 2-3 days per week.

JOB SUMMARY

You are a detail-oriented Corporate Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS/technology environment. You bring deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and global accounting operations, along with the ability to navigate complex, multi-entity structures across international regions.

You are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve problems as you are partnering with executive leadership to provide clear, actionable financial insights. You have a track record of building and improving scalable processes, strengthening internal controls, and leading teams through change and growth.

You operate with a high level of ownership and accountability, and you are known for bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous situations. You collaborate effectively across functions, communicate proactively, and take pride in delivering accurate, timely financial information that supports strong business decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Drive an efficient and scalable month-end close process, including continuous improvement of timelines, accuracy, and transparency
  • Partner closely with CFO and Director of Finance to provide timely, insightful financial reporting and support strategic decision-making
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, including complex revenue recognition (ASC 606) across subscription, license, and services offerings
  • Own the global consolidation process, including multi-entity financial reporting, intercompany transactions, and eliminations, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial statements
  • Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations, ensuring alignment across entities and timely resolution of differences
  • Lead audit processes and manage external auditors, ensuring a smooth and timely year-end audit
  • Evaluate, design, and implement strong internal controls and scalable accounting policies and procedures
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements across ERP and financial systems to increase efficiency and data integrity
  • Lead and develop a global accounting team of 6, with functional ownership across GL, AP/AR, and revenue, including coaching, mentorship, and performance management
  • Oversee international accounting operations, including management of third-party accounting providers across APAC regions (Taiwan, China, and Japan), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
  • Support tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors across domestic and international jurisdictions, including transfer pricing matters
  • Partner on strategic initiatives, including system implementations, process transformation, and potential M&A or integration activities
WHAT WE REQUIRE
  • 10+ years of experience as a financial administrator, including 5+ years in a Corporate Controller role
  • Experience in SaaS or technology companies, with strong understanding of recurring revenue models
  • Experience in a private equity-backed organization preferred
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and scale accounting processes, systems, and controls
  • Experience operating in a global, multi-entity, and multi-currency environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver clear, actionable insights
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Full-time job with an annual starting salary between $180,000 - $210,000 and eligibility for an annual bonus. The specific starting salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience and education. The assigned annual salary band is $175,000 - $235,000, with a starting base salary (listed above) targeted close to the midpoint of the range for qualified candidates.
