JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. This role will have broad exposure to planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the entire company, providing in-depth analysis that drives strategic decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with senior executives and interface with all aspects of the company, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations.

The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with senior executives and interface with all aspects of the company, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand key business drivers and incorporate them into financial models.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the executive team.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business case development.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Lead sales commission plan design, implementation of commission reports, and calculation of quarterly payouts.
- Serve as the primary finance partner for Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations teams.
- Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc financial analysis and recommendations.
- Participate in strategic discussions and provide financial guidance on key decisions.
- Work closely with the CFO and executive team to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Support the preparation of materials for board meetings and executive presentations.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as required by the executive team.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior management.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with different teams.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS company.
- Experience with SQL is a plus
- Experience in data visualization and dashboarding (e.g., Power BI)
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics and KPIs.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
- The assigned annual salary band for this full-time job is $80,400 - $123,600 with a target starting salary between $100,000-$110,000 for qualified applicants. The specific starting salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, or location. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
