LOCATION

This direct contract position will work under a flexible work model remotely in LATAM, preferably in Brazil, Columbia or Mexico, within one hour’s drive of a major airport.

WHO YOU ARE

You are eager to expand your knowledge of valuable sales and technical skills at a successful and innovative software company that sells a product beyond the ordinary.  As an integral part of a high-performance sales team, you thrive in supporting end-users and go-to-market partners while providing technical pre-sales support across LATAM with Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish speaking skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide customers and partner representatives with in-depth technical product and related solution assistance during pre-sales discussions.
  • Support sales productivity by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions and partner with clients and internal customers as the main pre-sales technical interface.
  • Work closely with assigned sales reps and territories while they develop leads into actionable sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with assigned salespeople, Professional Services and Marketing to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer requirements.
  • Participate in web and in-person meetings with partners and end users to provide product demonstrations, discuss technical concepts and product features and benefits.
  • Partner with channel partners and the Sales department and assist in understanding the customer’s business problem and pain point(s), propose the right solution and develop project strategies to ensure a successful solution implementation.
  • Evangelize BarTender products and vision (50% BarTender Labeling Solutions/50% BarTender Track & Trace/Retail solutions).
  • Gather the information and details about prospective customer business and technical pain, allowing the professional service team to build statements of work.
  • Input and update records accurately and manage data in our CRM database on all client interactions, to include technical notes and information to assist the sales process.
  • Work in the regional/corporate office during events or other activities as needed.
  • Up to 50% travel within the region/territory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the SaaS or software industry in a pre-sales technical capacity.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role presenting/demonstrating technical solutions.
  • Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish as well as excellent verbal and written English.
  • Familiarity with direct sales, value-added sales and/or distribution channels.
  • Experience with GS1 and/or RAIN RFID.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Windows and Windows printing architecture.
  • Experience and understanding of Cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications.
  • Strong organizational habits and outstanding attention to detail.
  • Dedication to outstanding customer service.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work dynamically in a fast-changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in process analysis, design, engineering, project management and consulting experience as a billable resource.
  • Experience with CRM applications and order entry software.
  • Working knowledge of databases, networking, EPR/WMS/MRP applications.
  • Familiarity with Scripting languages (VBScript, Python, Perl, etc.) XML, JSON, YAML and web interfaces.
EDUCATION
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree and/or experience.
